Alissa F. Oduro
Alissa is a student at The University of Akron School of Law. She began with KWW as a summer clerk in 2019 and has been clerking continuously ever since.
She is very involved at Akron Law. In 2019, Alissa was elected president of the Black Law Student Association (BLSA). In the same semester, she was also elected as the Student Bar Association Representative for the Spring Start Class of 2020.
Alissa is a native of Akron, and graduated from The Ohio State University in 2017 with a B.A. in International Studies. While there, she furthered her studies of Mandarin Chinese that began her freshman year at St. Vincent-St. Mary High School. She was finally able to use her language skills when she briefly lived in Chengdu, China.
Alissa participated in one of the Law School’s exchange programs studying at the University of Nagoya and the University of Tokyo in Japan. She aspires to a career in health law and employment law.
In her free time she enjoys playing with her three dogs, trying new foods, and riding her bike.
