Conversations About Racial Equity

Kastner Westman & Wilkins, LLC

We believe that everyone ought to be talking about racial injustice and inequity.

  • Within KWW. We hold such conversations within our own workplace. These conversations are meaningful, inspiring, and important steps in our DE&I journey. Our commitment to open, regular and ongoing discussions among all employees of the firm will continue to promote awareness and understanding of these important issues.
  • For our clients. As a direct outgrowth of our internal conversations, we offer a Rise & Learn session for our clients entitled, “How to have effective conversations with your employees about racial equity in the workplace.” This session provides an overview of why having such conversations in our workplaces is so important, including considerations related to fostering workplaces committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion; a review of best practices in planning for and conducting these conversations; and an opportunity for the attendees to discuss among themselves issues related to racial inequity.
