Join us in welcoming our two newest attorneys, Paul Neel and Jared Thomson.
Paul brings a unique and diverse background to his labor and employment law practice at K|W|W. He began his career in academia as an English professor at Cuyahoga Community College before changing gears and pursuing a law degree.
After graduating magna cum laude from Cleveland State University College of Law in 2019, Paul practiced business and employment law, and served as a judicial attorney for Judge Mary Jane Boyle of the Eighth District Court of Appeals.
At K|W|W, he’s leveraging his experience to help employers navigate a wide array of workplace issues, from contract disputes to complex litigation.
Jared entered law school at CSU Law School after a career in the military, having honorably served with the United States Air Force. He earned a bachelor’s degree in computer information systems while serving, and added an MBA immediately afterward.
Following law school graduation in 2022, Jared served as an assistant prosecutor in Geauga County. In that role, he learned the commitment of serving others and resolving complex disputes, skills that he now applies to his representation of employers.
“We’re confident that clients will quickly recognize the smarts and legal talent that Paul and Jared bring to K|W|W,” said John McKenzie, managing shareholder. “Both are Northeast Ohio natives whose diverse professional backgrounds, energy and passion for the law complement the strong team we have at K|W|W.”
