Kastner Westman & Wilkins, LLC, a boutique labor and employment law firm representing management exclusively, added long-time Akron employment litigator R. Scot Harvey to the firm in an Of Counsel capacity.

Harvey has nearly thirty years of experience representing both private and public sector employers in all aspects of labor and employment law. He devotes a substantial portion of his practice to litigating claims that are filed against employers in state and federal court. At the same time, Harvey is focused on helping clients avoid litigation by providing day-to-day counseling on workplace issues, including situations implicating the ADA, the FMLA, and wage and hour laws.

The Akron resident received his law degree from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law and bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Syracuse University. He’s also the Co-Chair of the Labor and Employment Law Section of the Akron Bar Association.

KWW’s clients range from Fortune 500 companies to smaller regional businesses, including both local institutional employers and public sector entities. The firm provides employers with counsel and representation in affirmative action compliance, alternative dispute resolution, employee benefits, employment litigation, EEOC and other administrative charges, human resources consulting, labor arbitrations and negotiations, occupational safety and health, trade secret and non-compete litigation, wage and hour issues, and workers’ compensation.
