Michael R. Briach
Mike represents employers in litigation and counseling across a wide range of workplace matters. He has litigated cases under Title VII, ADA, FLSA, FCRA, and restrictive covenant laws in state and federal courts as well as in arbitration. His experience includes serving as first chair in arbitration, defending administrative charges before the EEOC and Ohio Civil Rights Commission, securing injunctive relief in trade secret cases and obtaining a defense verdict on a breach of contract claim at trial.
In addition to litigation, Mike advises employers on compliance and day-to-day workplace matters including employee handbooks, restrictive covenants, investigations, accommodations, hiring, performance management, and terminations. Drawing on both private practice and in-house experience as General Counsel for a STEM-focused staffing and recruiting firm, he provides practical and business-minded solutions that help employers manage risk and resolve issues before they escalate.
Mike is recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star (2021–2025) and previously served on the Lorain County Bar Association Legal Ethics and Grievance Committee.
