Michael P. Cannavino

Mike joined Kastner Westman & Wilkins as a Law Clerk in January 2025. A legal career had long been on Mike’s mind, but it wasn’t until 2022 that he made the decision to enroll at Cleveland State University College of Law. Before pursuing law, Mike held roles in hospitality management, transportation services, and local government that included time as a union rep at Cleveland Metroparks. These experiences provided him with firsthand insight into workplace dynamics and reinforced his interest in labor and employment law.

At K|W|W, Mike supports the firm’s attorneys in advising employers on a variety of labor and employment matters. His previous roles exposing him to the challenges faced by both employees and employers strengthened his resolve to help organizations navigate complex workplace issues. Mike is particularly interested in workplace policies, dispute resolution, and compliance, and he values the opportunity to apply both legal analysis and practical experience in his work.
