Kathryn A. Reeve

Associate

Katy represents and advises employers on the workplace issues they encounter day to day. She traces her interest in labor and employment law to a common thread running through her career: a genuine curiosity about and engagement with people and company culture – being a dependable resource for clients.

Katy’s path to the law was a distinctive one. She spent her early career in marketing and public relations, working with clients ranging from large corporations to small community organizations throughout the greater Phoenix, Arizona area, including several years running her own strategic communications consulting practice. That background showcased her natural ability to translate complex issues into practical terms for clients, a skill that serves Katy well in employment law.

Katy first joined K|W|W as a law clerk in the summer of 2023, after returning to northeast Ohio to attend law school and begin a new career path. Before returning to K|W|W in 2026, Katy rounded out her legal training with a judicial externship at the Eighth District Court of Appeals, a public defense internship representing juvenile clients, and working with Community Legal Aid to support survivors of domestic violence.

Other Personal Background Information and Interests

Outside the office, Katy and her husband Kyle are busy with their family, including two young children and two rescue pets. The family lives in North Canton, where Katy enjoys spending time outdoors gardening, hiking, and skiing (a work in progress), as well as traveling to visit family across the country and taking in Ohio’s many seasonal festivals.
